Dust Bowl

The Dust Bowl was a period in the 1930's where there were many severe sandstorms that affect the United States, economically, and agriculturally. It caused droughts and hurt many farmers along the way. The droughts limited food supply, and the sandstorms ended up darkened the sky. This was a horrible follow up of the stock market crash that just occurred. The dust bowl mainly affected the region of Oklahoma, and the states near it. America was already going through a tough time with the economy, but now the dust storms made it even worse. Many people, ended up moving out west to find safety and jobs during the Dust Bowl.
