My Native American Name

Nimble Panda:

If I had a Native American name it would be Nimble Panda. I feel like Nimble Panda really fits my personality well. Nimble represents me, because I am quick on my feet, quick to learn new things and I can adapt to new situations. Even though most panda's aren't nimble, i feel like that's what makes it even more unique.

For the "panda" part, I love pandas, they are my favorite animal, and they represent me so much. Like a panda, I tend to be very lazy, and love to just lay down and daydream. Pandas are also black and white. For me personally I like things just being black and white. Knowing things one way or the other, and not lying is what I like the best. Having things have many options is very difficult for me because I can't choose which one to pick, which is another reason why. Nimble Panda would be the best Native American name that I could choose, it defines me as a person, and it has my favorite animal incorporated in it.

These two people, are dressed up as different things. The one of the left, Hami, is called 

the "dangerous thing". The one on the right isn't dressed as a specific thing, but he is dressed
as a ceremonial dancer during the Winter Dance Ceremony. I believe that
the Native Americans have had many different cultures that they cherished. In this picture
it shows how much they indulged in their culture and how many participated in their beliefs.
The Native Americans had their culture forcefully changed by the Americans. As the
Americans expanded and encountered the Native Americans, they did not like the ways of
the Natives, and made them learn and enact new cultures and new ways. I feel like the
natives were crushed when their cultures were disappearing, and also their lives being
taken away from them. This was all caused by the American's desire to expand

westward and take all the land.
